Great site! Hi, I've just read the note from Roger Hallaway, concerning Shubumi kittens. I don't know if he is aware but the Shubumi breed is one of only three breeds which are legally banned from leaving Japan. The other two are cousins of the snow leopard. Shubumi kittens can fetch prices of over $20,000.00. This is is because (wrongly in my opinion) that they are thought to bestow great luck on their owners. hello - just love your site! i'm a hug cat fan and especially of shubumi breed from japan. I've been trying to find shubumi breeders in the United States for some years now, but to no avail. If you have any info on shubumi breeders outside Japan, I'd love to hear from you - thanks roger

Hi Maya-san! I am an Americam who took a trip to Japan last summer. I had a great time and I loved everything about Japan (except for natto). Anyway I was just sitting around this afternoon missing Japan and I found your website. I really liked your drawings and especially the pictures of your cats. Although I don't have a kitty right now I used to have Babboo the big fat ballon and I also had very good friend, the Blue kitty who just died at the age of 19!
